The Prior Lake Rotary Club’s Lakefront Music Fest draws big crowds and big-name musicians for a good cause.

In 2017, with headliners such as The Fray, the festival drew more than 14,000 attendees. Darcy Rose, co-chair of the Prior Lake Rotary, said the festival is completely managed by volunteers and benefits community partnerships and initiatives. It’s a great opportunity to see national artists at an affordable price, Rose said.

Rose said the unique outdoor venue makes for a fun experience for everyone. Stay tuned for the 2019 lineup, expected to be released sometime in the spring. Last year’s acts included the Revivalists and Young the Giant.

Other finalists: Chanhassen Fourth of July Celebration in Chanhassen, Chaska River City Days, Heimatfest in Jordan, Minnesota Renaissance Festival in Shakopee, Rhythm on the Rails in Shakopee, Sever’s Fall Festival in Shakopee, Smoke Signals Charity Auto Show in Prior Lake and Volkfest in Victoria.
