The Minnesota Metabolic Weight-Loss Clinic recently opened in Chanhassen at 470 West 78th Street. The clinic was started by Dr. David Neubauer and his son Ross Neubauer.

David Neubauer graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1983, according to a press release. "Following 20 years of successful practice he became a trainer and coach for hundreds of doctors throughout the United States."

The clinic's program focuses on four things, according to David Neubauer stated. "One, it is clinician guided and monitored on a daily basis by a weight loss coach. Two, the program corrects a body’s metabolism to move patients from fat storing to fat burning. Three, it utilizes genetic testing to determine what foods and their combinations work for you instead of against you. And four, the program educates patients on diet and lifestyle changes that will create a happier, healthier you!”

The clinic is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. More info at 612-504-9944 or
