Stock & Barrel

Stock & Barrel Gun Club is opening a second location in Eagan.

On Feb. 15, doors will open at the second Stock & Barrel Gun Club in Eagan.

“The owners had a vision when they opened Stock & Barrel Gun Club in Chanhassen in 2016,” stated a press release. “They wanted to create a place where people could learn about gun safety and education or practice shooting in a warm and welcoming environment. The club itself was unlike anything the Midwest had ever seen with comfortable furniture, a private lounge, cigar lounge, extra-large shooting ranges, a virtual range and all the services and classes a beginner or enthusiast could ask for.”

“We want everyone, whether they’re an avid firearm user or have never held a gun before to feel comfortable walking into our clubs,” stated co-owner Chris Schutrop. “Gun safety and education is important no matter who you are. At Stock & Barrel Gun Club, our goal is to empower people with the knowledge and understanding of how a firearm works and operates.”

“Stock & Barrel is the country club of gun ranges. It offers luxury comforts at an affordable rate for all levels of gun enthusiasts,” Schutrop stated.

Stock & Barrel Gun Club is open to the public, but also offers three membership options.

“Many people think shooting is a man’s sport, but we have men, women and teens coming to our club to practice their skills,” stated Schutrop. “Nearly 40 percent of our members at Chanhassen are women. Schools are starting target shooting leagues and the firearms industry is creating weapons specifically designed for women. It’s turning into a family sport.”
