Full bloom summer annuals

The summer annuals are in full bloom at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Celebrate the summer solstice while supporting the Arboretum at Solstice Soiree: Gala in the Gardens Thursday, June 20.

The longest day of summer is approaching, and what better way to celebrate the extra sunlight than supporting the Arboretum? Solstice Soiree: Gala in the Gardens is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20.

Celebrate the longest day of the year by spending extra time in the gardens at the Arboretum. The Arboretum’s major fundraiser includes a reception and silent auction in the Perennial Gardens, followed by dinner al fresco in the Sensory Garden, a program hosted by KARE 11’s Belinda Jensen and a live auction. New this year: an after-party in the Wilson Rose Garden featuring live music by Connie Evingson, sweet treats and coffee.

Tickets are $250 for each individual, $500 for each individual at the patron level, $3,000 for a patron silver table for 10, $6,000 for a patron gold table of 10 and $25 per ticket to the after party.

Visit arboretum.umn.edu/gala.aspx to register. The Arboretum is located at Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, 3675 Arboretum Drive, Chanhassen. To learn more about the Arboretum visit arboretum.umn.edu.
