Three-Mile Drive

Three-Mile Drive at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen connects to 16 miles of smaller trails. It’s a great place to go for fresh air and exercise. The community can enjoy Three-Mile Drive and many other activities with free admission on Wednesdays through March.

Spring is just around the corner, so get out of the house and enjoy the natural beauty of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for free on Wednesday, March 27.

Activities and benefits include: three art shows, a beautiful conservatory full of tropical plants, orchids and other flowers, a new and flat trail head to enter the ski network of easy, intermediate and difficult trails, 16 miles of snowshoe and cross-country ski trails (snowshoes can be rented at the Visitor Center and kids can be pulled on sleds on snowshoe trails), walks on Three Mile Drive, browsing the Andersen Horticultural Library where there are 400 seed catalogs and librarians eager to assist visitors planning their gardens, shopping at the Gift & Garden Store, a 10 percent discount on new Arboretum memberships and free coffee or soda with sandwich purchase in the cafe.
