Make some fleecy friends at Gale Woods Farm

Have you ever wondered how wool makes its way from a sheep to the sweaters in your drawer? Learn all about the process at the annual sheep shearing at Gale Woods Farm from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 2.

During the event you will have the chance to meet the sheep and learn how wool is processed through various demonstrations. You will be able to make a wool craft to take home and purchase raw fleece from your sheep of choice.

This program is open to all ages and children 17 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

The program cost is $6 per person and there is a 20 percent discount for groups of four or more.
