The Carver County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call of a motor vehicle theft at 11:13 p.m. Friday, June 21 at the 7900 block of Market Boulevard.

Deputies responded to the area after obtaining descriptions of the stolen vehicle and possible suspects, according to a Sheriff's Office press release.

A deputy located the suspects of the motor vehicle theft nearby. After investigation of the witnessed motor vehicle theft, three individuals were arrested for felony motor vehicle theft.

Those arrested included a 19-year-old St. Paul man, a 20-year-old Park Forest, Illinois man and a 17-year-old girl.

While investigating the theft, deputies learned that a robbery had occurred at the Holiday Gas station on the 441 West 79th Street, prior to the vehicle theft.

One of the men was charged with simple robbery for assaulting the cashier and stealing cigarettes, the release stated.

This case is still is under investigation by the Carver County Sheriff’s Office.
