The Donatells own several restaurants in the southwest metro including the Whiskey Inferno in Savage and Bourbon Butcher in Farmington (pictured). Plans for a new restaurant in Chanhassen will have its own look and menu. 

The owner of Whiskey Inferno in Savage read the June 6 Villager article about his interest in opening a restaurant in Chanhassen, at the former Applebee's site.

Owner Tony Donatell is pleased to hear that the news has generated social media excitement among local residents, but also wanted to let readers know that his restaurant concept won't be a copy of Whiskey Inferno.

"We own several restaurants, and never do the same one twice, so if it works out in Chanhassen, the restaurant will not be called Whiskey Inferno or have the same menu."
