The regular season for the Holy Family girls’ soccer team came with plenty of challenges early on, but it ended with a reward.

After playing seven teams in higher classes and going 2-5 in those matchups, the Fire finished 7-0 against Wright County conference opponents and won the conference championship Oct. 4. Holy Family (8-5-2) beat Watertown-Mayer 6-2 to secure the conference title.
