Candidates elected to the Chaska City Council officially took their seats on Monday night.

Councilor Taylor Hubbard won the Ward 2 seat over former councilor Nate Bostrom, who was appointed earlier this year, during the special election on May 14.

Incumbent Councilor Mike Huang was elected by residents of Ward 4. He had been appointed to the council late last year.

“It makes it feel real,” Hubbard said after taking her oath. “I’m ready to get started and work for Chaska.”
