Lenzen Night

The Minnesota Automobile Dealers Association (MADA) named Lenzen Chevrolet-Buick of Chaska one of its 2018 Community Heroes at a luncheon on Friday, Dec. 7.

“The dealership received this recognition for its strong commitment of time and money to charities and events in Chaska and the surrounding communities,” a press release stated.

“Being in business for 40 years in the great community of Chaska and giving back to the community is in itself an honor. We accept this award with great pride, believing that customers and service are always No. 1,” said owner John Lenzen in the release.

“MADA is proud of the tremendous work dealers do to give back to their communities,” said Scott Lambert, president of the association, in the release. “That’s why we are pleased to showcase the efforts of Lenzen and its employees who went above and beyond this year to meet the needs of local charities and events in its backyard

In its 40 years of operating in the community, Lenzen has supported more than 85 organizations including: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Christmas in May home repairs, the Festival of Trees, the Victoria Fire Department and “Lenzen Night” at the Chaska Cubs baseball game where they fed 950 people.
