Chaska will have a new grocery store next week.

Aldi will host a ribbon cutting ceremony 8:25 a.m. Thursday, May 2 at 1110 Hazeltine Boulevard, Chaska, according to a press release. There will be a Golden Ticket giveaway offering gift cards for the first 100 customers.

The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“Everyone deserves great food at affordable prices. This is our mantra at Aldi , and we’re excited to introduce it to customers in Chaska with our brand new store,” said Matt Lilla, Faribault division vice president for Aldi in the release.

The store is part of a $3.4 billion investment to expand to 2,500 stores nationwide by the end of 2022, the release stated. Aldi operates more than 1,800 stores in the U.S. in 35 states.

In Carver County, an Aldi opened in Waconia in 2018 and another is slated to open in Chanhassen this September.
