QualiTech, 318 Lake Hazeltine Drive, Chaska.

QualiTech, a provider of ingredients and solutions for the agriculture industry, is opening a new AGN Innovation and Technology Center at its headquarters in Chaska.

QualiTech has doubled the size of its product development staff, driving the need for this new facility. “In order to keep pace with today’s evolving and innovative research and development trends, we needed to expand our capabilities while keeping with our focus on safety,” stated Kye Ploen, vice president of Business Development and a QualiTech shareholder, in a press release.

“This new collaborative space has been developed with the end customer in mind. The carefully designed lab allows for increased experimentation capacity and heightened team engagement,” stated Erik Hagestuen, PhD, director of Research and Product Development for QualiTech Ag Nutrition. “The work pattern flows have been designed to maximize efficiency and teamwork, thereby enabling QualiTech to respond more effectively to its customer’s needs.”

In addition to the continued innovative work on QualiTech’s SQM protected minerals for animals, the Research and Product Development team has recently launched three new plant nutrition products in California, according to a press release.
