Pets of the Week

Gracie is about 7 years old, weighs 30 pounds, and is house-trained. She needs exercise and could use obedience training. Gracie door greets, loves to go in the car with you, and enjoys leash walks. This brindle-colored beagle mix gets separation anxiety if left too long by herself. She is passive with most dogs, hasn’t met cats, and is friendly with all. Gracie hopes to find a forever home with you.

All pets have been vet checked, wormed, had shots updated, have a micro ID implanted, checked for friendly dispositions and neutered/spayed, if possible. Adoption fees are $175 and up for cats and $200 and up for dogs. If you can give one a home, call the Carver Scott Humane Society at 952-368-3553.

Whitey is a 9-month-old Chihuahua mix weighing 5.7 pounds. He has become more comfortable in his foster home and gets along with the kids and large dog, and is good with cats also. He sleeps in bed with his foster mom, and is in a crate when alone. He’s learning different commands but does need to be on a leash when outside because he likes to chase people and other dogs. His adoption fee is $350 and includes neuter, microchip, general exam and vaccinations. Weighing just more than a bag of sugar, this mighty mite packs a big love punch!
