Miss Farkus will greet you at the door, ankle rub, talk to you in her cute trill, follow you around hoping for petting and tummy rubs from those she knows. She enjoys being cradled like a baby and her happy purr motor hums away while in your arms. Miss Farkus likes most cats, dogs, and kids over age 4. She is very shy of strangers. The vet thinks she was born September 2014. Crack out the interactive toys and enjoy the fun.

To give her a home, call Wee3beasties: Saving the Strays at 952-758-5087 or email savingthestrays@hotmail.com. Cats are vet checked, spay/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fees are $40-$50 for adults.

Munchkin is a female rat terrier mix, who is 6 years old. While she is shy at first, once she gets to know you, you’ll be best friends! She gets along with other dogs and kids, but is not good with cats. Derived from the German word "männchen," munchkin means "little figure," and at 17 pounds, this gal fits the billing. Her foster mom says she’s cute as a button and very sweet. Munchkin’s adoption fee is $350 which includes a general exam, rabies, distemper and bordetella shots, as well as spay and microchip. She would love to find her forever home so she can snuggle with her people every day.

Are you looking for a purrfect companion to be the top cat in your house? Sweet Sandy is looking for her forever home. Sandy is mostly white with buff orange spots. She can be shy at first but once she makes herself at home, she is a doll. Sandy will greet humans by rubbing against their legs in circles. She enjoys her wet food. She likes to play with a laser light and climb through cat tunnels (we’d be happy to send one home with her).

And we must emphasize: Sandy is purr machine. We think she’d do best in a home with no other pets and older, considerate children, where she could be the center of attention and be with someone who appreciates her playful nature. If you are looking for a beautiful kitty to spoil as your one and only, Sandy could be the cat for you. She’s been waiting for her forever home for far too long and we’d love to see her adopted soon. Sandy is spayed, microchipped, negative for FLV/FIV, and current on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $75.

This and other friendly pets are available for adoption through Carver-Scott Humane Society. To start the adoption process or check out the full list of animals available for adoption, visit www.carverscotths.org or call 952-368-3553.
