Tracy Leggett and the far left are now urging voters to urge U.S. senators to vote for passage of “For the People” legislation in Congress (“Time is now to speak up,” May 27).

This legislation would force states to massively expand voter registration while forcing them to roll back sensible requirements for election integrity, such as voter ID.

This amounts to a blatant grab by Democrats and socialists for their dream of permanent one-party control over all of us, and a vastly transformed America. It enables on a nationwide basis the well-documented election corruption that took place in large, Democrat-controlled cities in the 2020 presidential election.

The presidential election of 2020 was likely the most corrupt in American history. How else could you characterize an election reversed in the dead of night in the large Democrat-controlled cities in America’s swing states?

President Donald Trump had a huge lead in several key swing states for hours after the polls closed on Nov. 3, 2020, more than enough to win the election. However in the early morning hours after the polls closed, hundreds of thousands of additional votes materialized in the big cities of said key swing states.

Democrats, with complete control of election personnel, ballot custody, and procedures in these cities prevented Republican observers from accessing and examining these added ballots, in spite of court orders to do just that. We were told, without benefit of Republican review, a statistically impossible 95% of these added ballots went to Joe Biden.

Further, there was no two-party custody of hundreds of thousands of ballots coming from ballot drop boxes and elsewhere in these big cities. (24/7 camera monitoring would easily resolve this problem.)

Therefore the 2020 election was without integrity and was not legitimate. But count on Democrats to predictably oppose anything that would add integrity for honest, fair elections.

When anything bringing true election integrity is introduced to lawmakers, Democrats cop to complaints about racism. They want us to believe non-whites just don’t have what it takes to get to a polling place on Election Day to vote — very demeaning.

When election officials are allowed to flood America with ballots long before Election Day that anyone, including the deceased, illegals and other non-citizens, non-residents etc., can fill out, we lack election integrity.

If Republicans are denied their lawful right to examine all ballots, we lack election integrity. In fact, why bother with presidential elections at all if the outcome can easily be rigged? But that’s where “For the People” voting legislation would bring us.

Ms. Leggett tells us that we are close to losing our democracy. I have news for her. Our democracy was already set aside in the early morning hours of Nov. 4, 2020, following Election Day. Our democracy will be permanently lost if Democrats manage to extend nationwide the corrupt practices they resorted to on Nov. 3-4.

If Ms. Leggett or anyone else would like to discuss this in an open forum I’d be glad to oblige.
