DENNIS KRATOCHVIL

Dennis was drafted by the US Army during the Korean
Conflict where he served with the 746 Engineer Heavy
Shop Company. He was sent to Goose Bay, Labrador for
five months, to construct landing strips for the refueling
of aircraft returning from Korea. Upon his discharge in
1953, Dennis had earned the rank of Sargent, and
continues to remain in contact with many of the
soldiers from his company.
