The candidates for the Eden Prairie School Board will gather for a public discussion hosted by the League of Women Voters on Oct. 3, according to a news release from the League of Women Voters of Minnetonka, Eden Prairie and Hopkins.
The public is invited to this free, televised event in the Eden Prairie City Council chambers, where the 10 candidates running for four open seats will answer written questions from the audience. The public can submit questions prior to the event on the League of Women Voters website, www.lwvmeph.org. There will also be a meet-and-greet after the forum in the lobby of Eden Prairie City Center, the release says.
The forum will be from 7-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, in the Eden Prairie City Council chambers at 8080 Mitchell Road. Barb Westmoreland is the candidate forum chair and is available at 952-935-5180 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
