Eden Prairie High School student Angela Lin is among 70 students from around the world who have been chosen to participate in the Four Star Leadership program with Gen. Tommy Franks in Hobart, Okla.

The free leadership program provides students "with both classroom and one-on-one experiences with respected leaders," according to a news release.

"During the program Lin will be hosted on the Oklahoma Christian University campus in Edmond, Okla., and will travel on various excursions across the state where she will meet and engage with national and international leaders including politicians, dignitaries and star athletes," the release said.

"In addition, Lin will be confronted with practical leadership and ethical scenarios and then challenged to address them individually in a persuasive speech and writing competition as well as collaboratively in an Ethics Bowl tournament. Lin will also have a chance to earn more than $15,000 in scholarships as well as gain internships and receive letters of recommendation."
