Where are

you from?

Home for me is Plymouth, Minnesota.

What drew you

to journalism?

What drew me to journalism is a passion for storytelling and specifically for sports writing. I grew up loving watching sports, and even wrote my own column in third grade about the MLB season, called the Grand Slam Times. Ever since then, I have loved both recording statistics and writing about sports-related topics, but through college, I have learned to appreciate writing about a variety of genres. I was the news reporter for our award-winning student-led publication, The Clarion, and got valuable experience covering news on our campus.

What do you

like to report on?

I love to report on sports-related subjects, but am finding a stronger passion for news and feature reporting.

What are some

of your hobbies?

Some of my favorite hobbies are being outdoors in nature, spending time with my family and friends, going to Twins games and being on my family’s boat.

Favorite book?

“Unbroken” by Laura Hillenbrand.

Favorite movie?

“The Dark Knight.”

Favorite local business?
