Meet Sid, a 5-month old, black, male domestic shorthair. Sid loves to be held and snuggled when he’s not cruising the house, playing with his foster siblings, including two cats, a bunny, and a black lab.
He’s perfectly litter box trained and learning to use a scratching post. He is a very social kitty and would love a home with a few buddies. He is healthy and ready to join your family.
If you are interested in adopting this sweet little guy, submit your application online and one of our Adoption Advocate volunteers would love to tell you more. He is currently in a foster home, so you will need to submit an application before setting up a meet and greet. Sid’s adoption fee is $175 plus tax (adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV test, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery).
This is Gracie. She is a very sweet 65-pound German Shepherd Dog mix. We don’t really know how old she is, but our best guess is 7.
Gracie came to CSHS after spending months recovering at a pound. She wasn’t cared for well before finding a safe spot and came in to CSHS emaciated and scared. Now that she is happy and healthy she is ready to find her forever home.
Gracie loves to snuggle and she adapts to new environments pretty easily. She is good with kids of all ages and really likes people. She walks nicely on a leash and is a good listener, although she may not know a lot of obedience commands. She is tolerant of other dogs, but she gets a little cranky if they get too overwhelming for her. She would do well as a single dog or in a home with other well-adjusted male dogs of the same size or larger. No kitty friends please.
Gracie is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She is house-trained and kennel-trained, and is happy to wait for you to come home. She has been kenneled for up to eight hours and done fine, but it would be preferable for her not to be kenneled for quite that long without a walk or break.
If anyone is interested in this sweetheart, please apply to meet Gracie today. Gracie’s adoption fee is $325 plus tax (adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery).
