CORRECTION: A Let's Go event on page 18 of the April 25 Independent had incorrect information about the Friends of the Library Book Sale. The sale will be held May 16-18 and the price of a bag of books is $5. 

In the April 11 Jordan Independent historical column called Looking Back, we incorrectly reported 1949 as the year of a fatal crash. The fatal crash occurred in 1969. The Independent regrets the error.

In the Best of the Best special published in November, The Vinery Floral and Gifts was reported to have been open five years. The floral shop has been open 15 years.
