The Jordan High School class of 2019 graduated Saturday at Ames Field outside Jordan High School. The class motto was "Tough times never last, but tough people do," a quote attributed to Dr. Robert Schuller.

Superintendent Matt Helgerson delivered opening remarks. Valedictorian Claire Stocker and salutatorian Trace Shimek later delivered addresses to their fellow graduates. School board members Jesse Erdal and Tom Vogel delivered a congratulatory address to the class of 2019.

The JHS Concert Band played a number of selections, including "Pomp and Circumstance" as the graduating class entered. The JHS Concert Choir performed "Good Ridance" by Green Day.

Vases of flowers were placed on stage in memory of James Kerber and Zach West.
