The Jordan Board of Education accepted the resignation of board member Jesse Erdal on May 28.
Erdal, a member of the board since 2018, stepped down because his family plans to relocate out of state.
In his resignation letter, Erdal said, “My time on the school board has been an extremely rewarding experience. An experience that I am forever grateful to say I was able to participate in. The professionalism that you, the district administration, district staff and fellow board members was second to none.”
Erdal was appointed to the board in April 2018 to fill a seat vacated by Bob Malz. Erdal was later elected to that seat in November 2018. His last day serving as a board member is June 3.
