Eye of the Lion

The Jordaness Lions held their annual Fish Fry on March 15. There was lots of great fish and tasty desserts. It was a huge success and the Jordaness Lions would like to thank the community for their wonderful support and invite you all back next year.

On April 7, Celebrate Jordan was held at the CERC. The Jordaness Lions held a wellness fair on the second level with multiple booths such as diabetes screening, Kidsight Vision Screening, a taste of Cinco de Mayo and much more.

On April 15, the Jordaness Lions, friends and families will participate in a district-wide service project at Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen. We will be packing thousands of nutritious, simple meals for children in underdeveloped countries.

In late April we will be handing out seedling trees to children in the kindergarten classes at Jordan Elementary and St. John’s. The kids love this project and they get to experience the wonder of nature by planting and nurturing a tree as it grows and beautifies our community.

On May 3, we host our annual Bingo Night. This year it will be held at Ridges of Sand Creek, with social hour from 6-7 p.m., games at 7 p.m. There will be two 50/50 drawings, two meat raffles and awesome Bingo prizes. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. We invite you to come and join the fun!
