Ryan Friedges

Jordan shortstop Ryan Friedges was named the MVP of the Minnesota River Conference by the conference’s baseball coaches.

The Minnesota River Conference has announced its all-conference baseball team and honorable mentions, and six Jordan baseball players were honored.

Jordan’s Ryan Friedges, Adam Kreuser, Jonathan Huss, Micheal Lambrecht and Kyle Hvidsten were named to the all-conference team.

Noah Schmitt received an honorable mention.

FRIEDGES

Senior Ryan Friedges started in all 14 MRC conference games. As a team captain the last two baseball seasons, he hit .630 (29-46), including eight doubles, two triples, two home runs, 25 runs, 26 RBIs, and eight walks. He had a .655 OBP, 1.022 SLG, just two K’s, nine stolen bases, and a .731 BA/RSP.

He was a captain and his parents are Dan and Ann Friedges.

KREUSER

Senior Adam Kreuser started in all 14 MRC conference games and served as a captain. He hit .476 (20-42), seven doubles, one home run, 15 runs, 19 RBI, 5 walks and only 5 K’s. From the mound, he pitched 23.33 innings, with a 1.50 ERA, 21 K’s, 3-1 W-L record.

His parents Dan and Patty Kreuser.

HUSS

Senior Jonathan Huss started in all 14 MRC conference games and was a senior leader for the Hubmen. He hit .420 (21-50), had three doubles, scored 30 runs, eight RBI, five walks, .532 OBP, .480 SLG, seven hit by pitches, and 20 stolen bases. He also pitched 5 innings with 8 K’s and a 0.00 ERA in relief.

His parents are Bob and Jody Huss.

LAMBRECHT

Senior Michael Lambrecht started 13 conference games, hit .306 BA (11-36), scored 11 runs, four doubles, 10 RBI, six BB. He was a captain and leader for the team. He also pitched 26 innings with a perfect 5-0 W-L record. He had an ERA of 2.15 with 27 K’s and six walks.

His parents are Richard and Karen Lambrecht.

HVIDSTEN

Freshman Kyle Hvidsten started 13 games and hit .500 (21-42). He had nine doubles, one triple, three home runs, scored 25 runs, had 18 RBI. He walked eight times, had an OBP of .600, .976 SLG, struck out only once, had four HBP, stole five bases and had .500 BA/RSP. He pitched six innings with a 0.00 ERA and 1-0 record.

His parents are Corey and Julie Hvidsten.
