Jordan trap

Jacob Stay and Emma Schwardt received their medals for finishing second in the male and female individual conference standings.

Jordan trap shooter Jacob Stay wrapped up the trap shooting season by competing at the Minnesota State High School League state championships.

Stay hit 88 out of 100 targets last Friday at the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake to finish in a tie for 90th. Only the top 100 shooters compete at the MSHSL state tournament.

New Prague’s Woodrow Glazier finished in first place with a perfect score of 100 out of 100. New Prague also won the team title with a team score of 484 to edge Alexandria, Hopkins and Lakeville South for first place. Alexandria, Hopkins and Lakeville shot a 482.
