WAYZATA — Lake Minnetonka area schools celebrated the class of 2019 with graduation ceremonies held over the past few weeks.

Hundreds of students walked across the stage at Mariucci Arena during Wayzata High School’s graduation ceremony on May 31. The school says 833 students graduated with the class of 2019.

Minnetonka 2019 graduates threw their caps into the air at U.S. Bank Stadium on June 6 after seniors received their diplomas. The district notes 782 people graduated this year.

Superintendent Rhoda Mhiripiri-Reed participated in her first graduation ceremony as superintendent of Hopkins schools on June 6 at Lindbergh Center, handing out diplomas to graduates. The district says 563 students graduated from Hopkins High School this year.

Orono High School celebrated its 228 graduates on June 6 at Pesonen Stadium, where class speakers Carolyn Fritz and Wyatt Johnes addressed their classmates.
