A technology company that was one of the first to participate in the city's "business incubator" program has relocated its corporate offices from Burnsville to Prior Lake.
Innovative Computer Professionals Inc. recently moved from Burnsville to the Village Commerce Building, 4719 Park Nicollet Ave., in Prior Lake.
A ribbon-cutting event is planned at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5. at the new Prior Lake office.
The company's move is a direct result of its participation in the city’s Technology Village Business Accelerator Program, spearheaded by the Economic Development Authority (EDA), said Dan Rogness, the city's economic development director. The company joined Technology Village when it opened in spring 2013 and is now leasing more than 3,000 square feet of office space with nine full-time technology positions.
Richard Beer, president and founder, said: “My company is in Prior Lake based on our positive relationship with Technology Village over the past year."
