Ann Eva Kubes, age 92, of Shakopee, entered eternal life on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at St. Gertrude's Health Care Center in Shakopee.
Ann Eva was born on May 24, 1926, in New Prague, the daughter of Edward and Ludmilla (Klimes) Holub. She went to school in Mankato to become a teacher, and worked as a paraprofessional for the Shakopee School District. Ann Eva was married to Julius Kubes.
She was a lifelong member at Church of St. Mark in Shakopee, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary in Shakopee.
Ann Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Julius; sister, Sally (Ron) Andersen; brother-in-law, Robert Barlage.
She is survived by daughter, Luanne (Frank) Brundage; son, Gary (Susie) Kubesh; grandchildren, Daniel and Matthew (Meghan) Brundage, Haley and Alex Kubesh; sister, Marilyn Barlage; sister-in-law, Judy Kubes.
Visitation was Wednesday, May 15, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., both at Church of St. Mark, 350 Atwood St. S., Shakopee. Presiding was Reverend Erik Lundgren. Pallbearers were Daniel Brundage, Matthew Brundage, Alex Kubesh, Chad Andersen, Keith Barlage, and Brian Barlage. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
