Marc Thompson, 44, of Prior Lake, was the first cancer survivor to finish the Hope in Motion 5K in Saint Paul on Sunday, June 4. More than 600 cancer survivors and their families, friends, caregivers and healthcare professionals participated.

Grant Rubietta is 15 years old. He lives in Prior Lake with his parents and his sister, 13-year-old Isabella. He swims for the Aquajets, he plays piano and he loves trains. There’s a big model train table in his corner of the family’s basement.
