The Prior Lake Police Department responded to and provided summaries for the following incidents June 5 to 12. The Prior Lake American does not include a comprehensive list of calls to which the department responded. Incidents are included here based on severity, impact on public safety or other factors.
June 4: A 43-year-old Chaska woman was arrested in connection with fifth-degree drug possession at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. Cleaning staff found suspected methamphetamine in the woman’s hotel room.
June 6: A 36-year-old Chisholm man was arrested in connection with felony possession of drugs and paraphernalia at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel.
June 9: A 38-year-old Woodbury man was arrested in connection with felony drug possession at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. Casino staff had found an abandoned backpack filled with approximately 65 grams of heroin, 40 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of cocaine and Naloxone. The man also had several Washington County warrants for failure to appear and domestic abuse.
June 8: A 41-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested in connection with DWI with a blood alcohol content registered at 0.15 on the 16000 block of Duluth Avenue. The man was reportedly seen urinating on a gas pump before police were called to the scene.
June 4: A 31-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested in connection with felony domestic assault by strangulation on the 2300 block of Sioux Trail.
June 10: A 31-year-old Prior Lake woman was arrested in connection with domestic assault on the 4000 block of Cates Street.
June 5: A 41-year-old Maplewood man was arrested in connection with attempted theft of a vehicle at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel after police said he obtained another visitor’s valet ticket to claim ownership of a car that wasn’t his.
