The Prior Lake Police Department responded to and provided summaries for the following incidents May 28 to June 4. The Prior Lake American does not include a comprehensive list of calls to which the department responded. Incidents are included here based on severity, impact on public safety or other factors.

DRUGS

May 28: A 33-year-old St. Paul man was arrested in connection with drug possession and check forgery at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. The man was reported using narcotics in the casino parking lot. A search of his vehicle yielded methamphetamine, Suboxone, a hypodermic needle and a forged check written to himself. He also had an outstanding Ramsey County felony burglary warrant.

May 30: Two men, 24 and 22, from Shakopee were arrested in connection with drug and drug paraphernalia possession on the 1400 block of Prairiegrass Drive. Officers found Oxycodone, marijuana and heroin as well as drug paraphernalia.

June 2: A 25-year-old Champlin woman was arrested in connection with fifth-degree drug possession at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. A search of her vehicle yielded methamphetamine.

June 3: Two Stillwater men, both 19, were arrested in connection with possession of drug paraphernalia at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel.

DWI

May 28: A 21-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested in connection with DWI and second-degree refusal of a blood-alcohol test at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel.

May 30: A 65-year-old St. Paul man was arrested for DWI and indecent exposure in Shakopee after leaving Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. He allegedly became angry with casino staff and twice flashed his penis before leaving. Shakopee Police made the arrest.

ASSAULT

June 1: A 34-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested in connection with domestic assault and interfering with an emergency call on the 13000 block of McKenna Road.

June 1: A 15-year-old Prior Lake boy was arrested in connection with assaulting a police officer and disorderly conduct after police received a report of a group of teenagers shooting passing cars with a pellet rifle. Three other boys age 16 or 17 from Prior Lake were cited for disorderly conduct. 

THEFT

May 28: Theft of a purse and its contents valued at $330 was reported from an unlocked vehicle on the 5500 block of Cedarwood Trail.

May 28: Theft of a wallet and computer bag valued at $400 was reported from an unlocked vehicle on the 14000 block of Bluebird Trail.

May 30: A 19-year-old Chaska man was arrested in connection with theft of a vehicle near Mystic Lake Casino Hotel after police said he took the car while a woman was in the passenger seat. He was charged with felony fleeing police in a motor vehicle, first-degree robbery, possession of a controlled substance and reckless driving.

June 3: An ELCO steel and concrete cover meter and a pulse velocity meter, valued at $7,500 each, were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 2300 block of Stonecrest Path.
