The Prior Lake Mudcats got some quick payback, earning a 12-2 home win over St. Patrick June 12 in eight innings in Dakota-Rice-Scott League play.

Prior Lake (8-5 overall) lost 9-7 at St. Patrick June 9, which ended a three-game winning streak.

The Mudcats are at Faribault June 14 in league action at 7:30 p.m. Prior Lake is at also Webster June 16 for a DRS game at 2 p.m.

In beating St. Patrick, Luke Weber pitched four innings, allowing one unearned, while fanning five for Prior Lake. Justin Hackett got the win in relief, working four shutout innings with five strikeouts.

Lucas Pumper drove in three runs, finishing 2 for 5 with a double. Johnny Houston was 3 for 4 with a triple, two RBIs and three runs scored, while Cole Bjorge finished 2 for 2 with two doubles, three RBIs and three runs scored.

Weber also had a pair of doubles, fishing 2 for 4 with three runs scored. Michael Walerius had with two RBIs, while BJ Benz and Parker Haferman each drove in a run. Jerad Leher finished 2 for 4.

Prior Lake scored five runs in the sixth inning to erase a 2-0 deficit, adding three more runs in the seventh and four more in the eighth.
