Junior Lynh Tran shot 105 for Prior Lake in the first round of the Section 2AAA tournament May 29 at the Ridges of Sand Creek Golf Course in Jordan.

The Prior Lake girls golf team's season ended in the first round of Section 2AAA play May 29 at the Ridges of Sand Creek Golf Course in Jordan.

The Lakers had a team score of 405, which placed them 11th. The top four teams qualify for the second round, which is June 3 at the same venue.

Chanhassen is in first place after round one with a 333 total, followed by Eden Prairie (341), Hutchinson (342) and Minnetonka (347).

Only four other golfers not on the four advancing squads qualified for round two. Prior Lake's didn't have anyone qualify.

Senior Isabel Benson led the Lakers with a 97, while junior Sidney Ford shot 98. Senior Charlotte Huntington and juniors Lynh Tran and Zoe Chmielewski each had 105, while junior Britney Maxfield finished with 124.
