The Prior Lake Mudcats had their three-game win streak snapped June 9 at St. Patrick in Dakota-Rice-Scott League action.

The Mudcats fell behind 8-4 after four innings in a 9-7 loss. Prior Lake went into the contest off of a 8-3 home win versus Montgomery June 6. Jerad Lehrer led the charge going 3 for 4 with two home runs, four RBIs and three runs scored.

The Mudcats (7-5 overall) are home to St. Patrick June 12 and are at Faribault June 14 in DRS games at 7:30 p.m. Prior Lake is at Webster in league play June 16 at 2 p.m.

In the win over Montgomery, Ben Morrison hurled seven innings for the win, allowing seven hits and two runs, while fanning four. Justin Hackett pitched two innings of relief, allowing one run.

BJ Benz finished with two RBIs, while Cole Bjorge was 2 for 4 with two runs scored. Johnny Houston also homered and scored three runs for the Mudcats, while Corbin Cross went 3 for 4.

In the loss to St. Patrick, Lucas Pumper took the loss, allowing eight runs (six earned) in four innings of work, while fanning two. Isaac Saad pitched four innings of relief, giving up one run.

Pumper homered at the plate, finishing 1 for 2 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Benz was 3 for 4 with a double and two runs scored. Lehrer doubled and drove in a run.

Michael Walerius had two RBIs, while Faue had one. Houston tripled.
