BAHS graduation

Breonna Johns, a graduate of Burnsville Alternative High School, leads the class of 2019 after receiving their diplomas during a ceremony Wednesday, June 5, at Burnsville High School. She spoke to the class and said she had assumed for a while she would either drop out or graduate late. “Well, I’m here!” she said to cheers, wiping away tears. She thanked the school’s teachers and staff and her single mother.
