Savage photo of week 6/27/20

Sue Hecker shared this snapshot of a monarch butterfly caterpillar near Featherstone Lake in Savage. Conservation groups and advocates this week celebrated National Pollinator Week to recognize the important work of pollinators like monarchs to keep the environment, including crops and other plants, growing.

The Savage Pacer publishes our favorite photos submitted by readers through a (mostly) weekly contest.

To enter our contest, submit your photo, preferably large file sizes, with a little information about them to editor@savagepacer.com. Photos can be of anything that stands out to you — lovely views, interesting wildlife, street scenes around town. We’ll give preference to photos taken in Savage.
