Carr L. Hagerman, a former Minnesota Renaissance Festival manager, appeared in court Monday morning on first-degree sexual assault charges refiled in October.

Hagerman, 63, was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in connection to allegations that he sexually assaulted a photographer in September 2017 who was working for the festival at the time.

Hagerman has been released without bail.

He is being represented by attorney Piper Wold.

His next court appearance is an omnibus hearing scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Dec. 1 at Scott County District Court.
