Zoe Schuele

Zoe Schuele

The Shakopee Lions Student of the Month for January is Zoe Schuele. She is a seventh-grader at Shakopee Area Catholic School. Her parents are John and Trista Schuele from Shakopee.

She volunteers at Mass, packs meals at Feed My Starving Children, helps with Bingo at All Saints Senior Living and helps with her teachers after school. She loves reading, playing volleyball, walking the dogs, playing cards with her grandparents and hanging out with her friends.

She works hard to get straight As and still leave enough time for sports and service. She recently competed in her schools Geography Bee and was the seventh grade champion. She took second place in the entire school.

She plans to attend Holy Family Catholic High School and hopefully play volleyball and work to excel at math.

Students are selected by the school staffs on a school year rotational basis at Shakopee Area Catholic School, Shakopee West Middle School and Shakopee East Middle School. Students are selected for their excellent attributes with academics, volunteerism, extra-curricular involvement, leadership and citizenship.

Zoe is student No. 176 to be selected since this student recognition program began in February 1998. Congratulations to Zoe.
