Letter to editor stock art - row of mailboxes

Dear representative Tabke,

You are making this much too easy for us.

Now you are pushing for drivers licences for illegal immigrants? And promoting hiding illegal immigrants from federal laws? I am hoping that is not the case!

You see a need for this based on safety and convenience. We see people who have come here and stayed for 14 years illegally.

We see people who are driving illegally without a license, and state it in the paper, already putting us at risk!

Probably one of the 30 or so drivers we see every day that don’t understand a turn signal or turn their lights on in bad weather, then smile at you when they almost run you off the road!

We see people who have been here for 14 years and still have not learned our language? I guess that’s not a crime.

We have laws Mr. Tabke. It's time this country started enforcing them again! There is a legal process, my grandparents went through it, so should the other immigrants!

And in response to a letter to the editor last week from Laarnie Ortega-Henderson, congratulations on being a fellow American and doing it the right way.

You were correct to call out Mr. Tabke, he loves to create back doors!
