One man was injured after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 21 and Tintaocanku (also known as Valley View Road) intersection on Monday afternoon.
The Shakopee Police Department responded to a 911 call at 4:51 p.m. Monday, according to an incident report.
According to the Minnesota Public Safety Monitoring Page, the car collided with a front-end loader and a LifeLink helicopter responded, with the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community firefighters setting up a landing zone at Highway 21 and 16.
Southbound Highway 21 was shut down, according to scanner traffic.
According to Shakopee Police, one 48-year-old male driver was transported by Allina Health emergency care. The extent of his injuries was unknown, according to Shakopee Police spokeswoman Claudia Cassman.
The scene was not cleared until 8:37 p.m., according to the incident report.
