Shakopee lacrosse wins state title

The Shakopee boys lacrosse U14 A team won the 2019 Youth Lacrosse of Minnesota state championship.

They are the first Shakopee A team to win a state championship at any age level.

Shakopee went 3-0 in pool play with wins against Elk River (12-2), Mahtomedi (7-2), and Rogers (9-3).

They opened up bracket play with a 9-4 win against Hudson and then defeated C3 3-2 in the semifinals.

In the championship game, they defeated Rosemount 6-5.

Shakopee finished the season undefeated.
